The Company’s main activity is ship agent and broker. For maximum efficiency, the operation department has been divided into two main divisions: passenger and cargo.
The passenger division, with multilingual personnel with specific 2 years training, handles more than 400 cruise ships per season with a movement of about 300.000 passengers. In the recent years a lot of effort has been put towards this expanding market. In 1995 various branch offices have been opened and an Italian network has been established to assist cruise vessels and ferries all over the Italian territory.
All the personnel employed is multilingual and the company operates as port agents directly or for account of general agents, more than 70% of the Cruise passengers traffic in the Naples area.
The company’s latest investment has been the computerization of all operational and financial services together with the employment of the very latest communication systems thereby enabling Klingenberg s.r.l. to offer clients maximum efficiency and reliability at minimum cost.
The company has been ISO 9002 classified since 1998. The head office is located in the heart of the port of Naples, approximately 20 meters from the passenger terminal.
